We apologize for the downtime between postings but the adults have were sick last week and now Abby and Ben are ill. In happier news we've changed the blog header to support the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. Rally caps everyone!
Our rally caps are on and we aren't missing a minute of the Series, even if we have to record and watch later. Last night was not pretty, but tonight should be a win for the Cardinals and then back to St. Louis for a win for the trophy. I think the blog header is really cute. I've never seen this picture before. Love, Granny and Gramps
I was wrong last comment. Mr. LaRussa didn't help matters either because he evidently called the wrong reliever from the bullpen or they heard him wrong or whatever. Maybe they will have enough steam to win the last two games and win the trophy after all. We're still routing for them.
It is 12:45 a.m. Indiana time and the Cardinals just won game six in 11 innings. We will see who wins the World Series tomorrow night. I was very tired from a day in Greenwood today but had to stay up to see who won. Gramps gave up at the bottom of the eighth and went to bed. He missed a lot of interesting baseball. It was an exciting and at the same time sloppy game. I think there were at least 5 errors, maybe more. Go Cardinals!!!!!! Love, Granny
Yeh Cardinals, "World Champions". They just won the series. It's the most Cardinals baseball we've gotten to see since we left Missouri and I have to say it has been very exciting. I wish Ben and Abby were old enough to have experienced the games. Love you all, Granny and Gramps
